We are all excited and count down every day from the beginning of the week to the weekend to finally have a sigh of relief , not have to answer to a boss to clients or to your patients, and then the party begins especially in the summer, from pool parties to barbecues, or to some lavish getaways like Montauk, Nantucket island or any other dream destination, whatever it is, where ever it is we all know there is no party without FOOD!
The question is, Can we disregard our bodies for the weekends? can we tell our bodies dont get toxic with all empty calories junk food and as a figure of speech tell the body stick around till Monday when we get back to our regular schedule than we will eat healthier? As we know the answer is NO, as an example a car does not run without gas even on weekends so why should our body function differently?
Even if we can make minor changes it goes along way remember that food keeps us alive and well nourished however lets celebrate with the beautiful nature we are surrounded, the activity you are doing at the moment, of course we should be grateful that we have access to food however not to consume it as an act of celebration and so to say time waster.
I know it might be a strange phenomenon that we spent lots of time at our past times around food but its time to change and realize its destroying us and these bad habits are not a one time thing its a constant habit repeated time after time.
Conclusion that these empty calories do matter, so lets absorb the nature the positive energy from the great activities we do! Carry water with apple cider vinegar instead of alcohol almonds seeds and goji berries instead of chips and other candy.
Have a conscious weekend and lets make better choices!
